Proprietor of Manatath Heritage, Mr Thomas is a farmer managing the 15 acre farm. The working farm has adapted sustainable / organic methods of farming of pepper, cardamom, coffee, vanilla, banana, vegetables, fruits, ayurvedic herbs, etc. The farm also has a few cows, goats, poultry and geese. It provides employment to few of our neighbors. Grass for the livestock is available in plenty in the premises. The farm is totally changing to organic and bio- dynamic practices of cultivation, eliminating all sorts of chemical inputs to the farm. The organic cultivation methods are adopted in association with Peerumedu Development Society (PDS), a voluntary Non Government Organization, which is now SCAL certified.
