You get a once in a lifetime opportunity to see a wild elephant, leopard, wild dog, barking deer, mouse deer, Nilgiri langur (a primate), bonnet macaque, squirrels, gaur (Indian bison), wild boar and sloth bear and the Nilgiri tahrs. Birds like Nilgiri Wood Pigeon, Nilgiri Pipit, Grey headed Bulbul, Black & Orange Flycatcher, Broad tailed Grass bird, Crimson backed Sunbird, White bellied Short wing, White bellied Treepie, Wyanad Laughing Thrush etc add to the attraction of Nature Zone.
Nature is the best provider. As such you are free to enjoy what nature has abundantly provided. There are no sounds of TV or air conditioning - only the sounds of nature.

Very Important Information for the Nature Zone Guests
Nature Zone is not a normal resort or hotel. It is a Jungle Park where guests are being provided world class accommodation and dining facilities.
This 25 acre Jungle Park is surrounded by jungle and there are no other resorts or commercial establishments nearby.
The entire property is maintained in an absolutely Eco-friendly manner. We do not have concrete structures, we have not even excavated the land for construction, nor hit a single nail for building the Tree Houses, even the plastering of the walls is done with clay. Hence the guests should come in with a commitment to the nature.
As it is a Jungle Resort, the only sounds you hear are the chirping of the birds and the sound of the stream. We do not have TVs, FM radios etc.
The resort is at a distance of 6.5 Kms from Munnar Bus station. The final 2.5 Kms is a Jungle Path. Though all types of vehicles can reach Nature Zone, we prefer to take the guest in our Jeep. Guests can park their vehicles in the town (we have some arrangement for that) and our Jeep will take them to NZ.
As there is wild life in the surrounding jungle, all transfers from and to Nature Zone will only be done between 6AM to 6 PM. NZ is totally protected using an Electrical Fencing and Trained Security Staff
The NZ staff are specially recruited considering their attitude and passion for service. They have been given trained to provide extra care and service to the guests. Hence the guests may feel free to ask for any additional service.
NZ has a full-fledged restaurant. As the Tree Houses are spread out in the property, we do not offer Room Service. However, if the guest is very particular in getting room service, a premium needs to be paid.
The Tree Houses are being built with Very High Safety standards. Only two adults and 2 children can stay on a Tree House. Hence extra bed is not being recommended.

As NZ is almost 600 ft above Munnar Town, the temperature drops in the night. Hence the guests should carry with them warm clothes, though we provide high quality blankets and quilts inside the room.
As NZ is one of the most picturesque spots in the entire South India, guests may compulsorily bring in their cameras and binoculars. For those who are passionate about Birding, we have found more than 30 species of birds inside the NZ; this includes the Nilgiri Pippets (one of the endemic species).
